I spend unreasonable amounts of time thinking about how centaur anatomy would actually work. Although anatomy in general (centaur or human) is really hard. ┐(‘～`；)┌

Some environmental speedpaints. I’m trying to stop being lazy with art and get back into drawing seriously and painting faster. The first in some concept art of a my character Elinor’s homeland. The second is reffed from Milieu’s Of The Apple album. Crits are welcome if you have any.

Finally decided on a color scheme for this guy! He’s a moth… monsterthing. I was stumped for a while but I ended up basing his color palette on this moth. I’m still deciding on a name for him however. I draw a lot of boring floaty poses whoops.
I just really like moths okay. uwu

New character or something. He’s like a wyrm/worm monster thing with too many mouths who also takes the form of a 13 year old albino kid that was inspired by a dream I had recently.

the first image is just me trying to get his very peculiar anatomy down. I can’t decide if the traditional half human-half beast look would be too distracting/ weird or if I should just make him fuzzy all over. I keep waffling between the two and now can’t decide which looks less… strange.
second image is mostly expressions although I outta tweak his facial construction more because he’s looking a tad generic, idk.
and he doesn’t have a name yet, either!
…it’s perfectly normal to stay up ‘till 1 in the morning worrying about how hairless I should make a dogtaur boy, right?
