Luxury :O

Luxury: What Pokemon do you think is overrated?

Even though I think Charizard is overrated, I still really love it. First Pokemon I ever got to lvl 100, too!

Ultra Ball!

Ultra: If you’ve captured a shiny, what was your first shiny?

I fished up my first shiny, a Tentacool, in Sapphire version! But I didn’t know what a shiny Pokemon was at the time and thought it was sick or something, pfft. I didn’t know what to do with it so I threw it in a box until I think I started a new game, erasing it. Currently I have a shiny Zangoose (Charles) and shiny Wailord (Plum) in White version.

Thank you for all the questions, everyone! I’m always open for more. ccc:

Lure Ball

Lure: What introduced you to Pokemon?

The card game!

Heavy Ball

Heavy: Is there anything you hate about Pokemon?

(Nit-picky opinion time) I don’t think I’m surprising anyone when I say I find the Pokemon movies rather dull. They’re usually kind of a mess often as a result from have way too many characters to function with Ash and party, and title pokemon star, and supporting cast, and villain characters. Usually this results in a really convoluted plot with a lot of forgotten characters. I think Brock/May/Dawn/Cilan/Iris even Ash himself sometimes could be pretty much cut out or their roles given to other character and we would not loose much from the films plot-wise! I’ve always found myself really liking the characters they introduced in the films as opposed to just thinking of them as filler / exposition character / macguffin. Like… Sir Aaron, Zero, Antonio, Sheena, Jackie Walker, they actually kind of interest me a lot more than Ash & co. do? They offer us a chance to explore and learn about the Pokemon world in different ways (though Jackie in the role of a ranger, Sir Aaron in a completely different time period, etc) and I think it would be really neat if the movies just revolved around these new characters as opposed to the established ones we already know everything about that are just being shoe-horned into the movie. (This is just wishful thinking of a Pokemon fan well past the target demographic age, though. The movies are fine for their initial purpose – marketing the Pokemon franchise. I do still enjoy a lot of the movies when I just remind myself not to take it too seriously and just enjoy the colorful monsters on screen, hahah!)

…this was just a poorly disguised reason for me to draw dumb cartoon characters I used to have crushes on wow i’m so embarassing. u////u I promise the next replies will be less…. wordy.

Day 8: Favorite ghost type - Duskull.
I think Giratina is actually my favorite ghost type, but don’t have much time to spend on doodles today so and his designs are rather detailed. So here’s my 2nd favorite, Duskull, in both shiny and normal coloration because I couldn’t chose which I liked more!

Day 7: Favorite bug type - Mothim!
I really love the art nouveau style, especially when applied to advertisements. UvU I got a little carried away with this one. I’ll have to keep the rest to doodles as this was a little too time consuming to get done in just one day, heh.
